How I have changed during the year.

 

2014 Term 4 Numeracy

We are learning to...

• solve problems like 45 + ? = 67 which do not involve renaming.

I can break up 37 into 30 + 7 and also 59 into 50+9

Then I say 30 and how many more to make 50 is 20

and 7 and how many more make 9 is 2 

so 20 +2 =22

Discovery is a time when we get to opt into a variety of activities that have been set up by the teachers. We work in mixed groups of Year 1 to Year 3 children. We are allowed to choose another activity when we have finished the first one.
